Our Climate Commitment

As a small business, Budo Online is committed to becoming more climate positive. We're actively exploring ways to reduce our emissions, offset our carbon footprint and build a more sustainable operation — from the packaging we use to the way we ship your orders.

What We're Doing

• Tree planting — we plant trees for every order placed on our website, in partnership with Ecologi
• Sustainable packaging — we're working to reduce single-use plastics and use more eco-friendly materials across our packaging
• Carbon-neutral shipping — a portion of revenue from every order goes toward verified carbon removal to offset our shipping emissions
• Sustainable brands — many of the brands we stock are increasingly using recycled and eco-friendly materials in their products

Carbon-Neutral Shipping

Every delivery has a carbon footprint. For every order we receive, a formula is used to calculate the estimated shipping emissions. A portion of our revenue goes to vetted carbon removal companies — reviewed by scientists from Carbon Direct — to remove however much carbon our shipments created.

Grassroots Carbon

Grassroots Carbon helps ranchers modify land management practices to improve soil and ecological health, capturing and storing more carbon in the soil.

Mast Reforestation

Mast Reforestation combines proven forestry practices with new technology to regrow healthy, resilient, climate-adapted forests lost to wildfires — including seed collection, seedling cultivation and financing based on high-quality carbon removal credits.
